Astané is the name of a threshold — not a word in any language, nor a place on any map, but a mysterious moment between being and becoming: between what a person believes themselves to be, and what they truly are in their own depth.
This work is the account of standing at the threshold; a threshold that opens not onto the outer world, but onto the endless interior of the human being. The standing figure is a shadow of the conscious self — carrying doubt, the weight of memory, and a silence formed from thousands of things unsaid. He stands at a border from which there is no return: a place where he must either remain in the safe darkness of himself, or step into a light he does not yet know.
And that luminous presence is neither angel, nor stranger, nor some rescuer from outside. It is the manifestation of the higher self — that forgotten truth hidden behind our fears, which now, in silence, extends a hand of invitation.
The triangle is not merely a shape. It is the sign of a bond between body, mind and soul; between earth, thought and light. And in its depth, the symbol of a path that leads from multiplicity to unity.
At this threshold, time collapses, and the border between inside and outside is lifted. The human being realises that what they were searching for was never outside them.
Astané is the moment when the shadow stops fleeing, the light stops hiding, and a person, for the first time, finds the courage to see themselves. This is not the beginning of the end — it is the beginning of knowing. And every knowing is a gateway to a deeper light.
Salute to the light
